The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi & Sphere Entertainment shook hands on the location of the 2nd viral sphere and as you have already guessed it: from Las Vegas to to the capital of the UAE.
The first sphere was built in Las Vegas, Nevada at a cost of $2.3 billion, according to the New York Post. Standing 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, this spherical structure can seat 17,500 people. By far, It is deemed the world's largest structure with an interior and exterior wraparound of LED displays.

Now it's official! The world's second sphere is coming up in Abu Dhabi. The location where the sphere will be built, the timeline or cost of construction have not been revealed yet.

"Together with Sphere Entertainment Co. we have announced our plan to bring the world's second Sphere to Abu Dhabi. Echoing the scale of the 20,000-capacity Sphere in Las Vegas, this venue promises to redefine entertainment in the region," Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism said in a statement.
