‘Cool’er times are ahead and we can’t wait to layer up again!
After having braved the heat all these months, we can finally start looking forward to breezy evenings, sleeping with socks on and of course, a certain Pumpkin Spice Latte from our favorite coffeehouse – wink, wink.
For those of you who’re still new to Abu Dhabi, or even if you’ve been here a while, let us guide you through the different emotions you might experience once you’ve survived a long summer in the capital.
When you think about it, there’s a lot more that ends along with summer – goodbye nasty sunburn, sweaty armpits, and frizzy hair that makes you look more like Tina Turner’s long lost twin than Queen Bey. NO MOREEEEE!
As you pack on the layers and fill your wardrobe with sweaters and jackets, you no longer have to worry about that “beach body”. So, you know what that means – bring on the pizzas and burgers, people!
This is probably the only time you’ll have fun choosing different outfit combinations – dress over a button-down?! Sure! Scarves over jackets?! YES! Cardigan with a jacket?! Oooo girl, you on fiyaaaahhh!
How about those seasonal drinks, eh?! Okay, while some of you may not ‘get’ the whole hoopla over a themed drink – we’d like to think that it adds to the celebratory spirit and gives us something to look forward to at the end of summer.
It’s also time to hit all your favorite outdoor clubs that’ll finally open their doors after a season-long hiatus – which means more plans, more parties and more ah-maazing artist lineups to look forward to in the coming season!
Christmas is ONLY months away! Y’all know what it’s like – pretty soon the malls will be dolled up with festive decorations and we'll be out and about looking for a tree. In case you're wondering, yes we’re guilty of loving Christmas way too much!
It’s also the season of some of our favorite nights including Halloween and New Year’s Eve – and oh, in case you’re worried about where to go for each of those nights, y’all know who to turn to!
