Situated on the lobby level, The Drawing Room recalls the timeless tradition of Afternoon Tea, which Mrs. Astor, the founder of the original St. Regis in New York, established early on as a St. Regis institution.
Setting the stage for elegant teatime or an anytime snack, the modern space harmonizes marble floors with plush, abstractly patterned area rugs topped with informal groupings of contemporary sofas, leather armchairs, and coffee tables. A soaring wall of windows illuminates the space with island sunshine while high, arched ceilings and white walls add to the airy atmosphere.
Equally refined, the beverage menu includes signature tea blends as well as bubbly, coffee, and more. Light bites and snacks range from the savory—Crab Club Sandwiches, Spaghetti, and Asian flavors—to the sweet: Handmade Chocolates, Macaroons, and Bespoke Cake. Meanwhile, Afternoon Tea options include bubbly, signature blend teas, coffee, and guest’s choice of traditional Finger Sandwiches, Scones, and more.
