Abu Dhabi’s nightlife calendar is set for one of its biggest weekends as Club Iris returns to Yas Marina during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Running from 5-7 December 2025, the upscale pop-up promises three nights of international entertainment, luxury hospitality, and the signature atmosphere that has made Iris a Race Weekend institution since 2013.

A three-night takeover

The Race Weekend at Yas Marina begins on Friday, December 5th, with South African DJ Vanco setting the tone for the celebrations. Known for his Afro-house sound and appearances at major festivals across Europe and Africa, Vanco’s sets are built on pulsating rhythms and atmospheric layers that keep audiences moving from start to finish.

His Abu Dhabi performance will showcase why he has become one of the most exciting names in the genre.

On Saturday, December 6th, the spotlight turns to Shimza, another powerhouse of South Africa’s electronic scene. A regular at global stages from Ibiza to Tomorrowland, Shimza is celebrated for his ability to deliver marathon sets that combine technical precision with raw energy.

His Race Weekend appearance at Iris promises to be one of the standout performances of the season, bringing together fans of house and techno for a night of high-octane music.

The weekend closes on Sunday, December 7th, with Italian duo Agents of Time, whose immersive live shows have earned them acclaim at festivals such as Awakenings and Sonar.
