The MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi 2025 has been unveiled: from Erth to Ryba & all the winners!

This is the real-star experience! Held at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental hotel, Michelin was pleased to announce The MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi 2025 winners in its third edition ceremony, on Thursday October the 31st, honoring the recommended restaurants in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. With three new winners joining the list, let's unveil the full list of awarded restaurants.

The selection that makes up the Abu Dhabi Guide includes a total of 48 restaurants. The four one MICHELIN star restaurants retain their award for another year. While two new Bib Gourmands join the retaining five restaurants and three new selected restaurants are added to The Guide! Congratulations are in order.

Four Restaurants retain their One MICHELIN Star.

Hakkasan

Erth, 99 Sushi Bar, Hakkasan, and Talea by Antonio Guida retained their One MICHELIN Star for another year of win as they maintained culinary consistency and excellence.

Congratulations to the teams for working extremely hard to retain this award, fully deserving of their distinctions.

Erth

Our anonymous inspectors experienced incredible Abu Dhabi, from its authentic traditions to its amazing innovations. We have no doubt about its exciting potential as a one-of-a-kind culinary destination. As we know, it is demanding to be selected into the MICHELIN Guide, but it is even harder to maintain the distinctions as our selections are annual. It implies that year by year, no matter the season, the period, the context, restaurants have to achieve the highest level of quality, with an unwavering commitment to excellence, said Gwendal Poullennec, International director of The MICHELIN Guides.

Talea by Antonio Guida

She concluded: This year, local professionals haven’t failed in this commitment, proposing the most tasty and unique gastronomic experiences to their guests on a daily basis, demonstrating passion and consistency. With the coming years, we expect chefs will continue to be attracted to Abu Dhabi and the standard of its cuisine to continue to rise.

99 Sushi Bar

Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard, Em Sherif Sea Café & Broadway are the three new selected restaurants added to The Guide.

Broadway

Whether it's French classics at the outpost of the Côte-d'Or original, Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard, or the steaks cooked to perfection and the glorious tart Tatin of the modern American brasserie Broadway...

Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard

...and the irresisitible taste of authentic Lebanese cooking at Em Sherif Sea Café, these new additions are what we call an added-value!

Em Sherif Sea Café

Mika and Ryba are both awarded with a Bib Gourmand.

Mika

Mika for the exceptionally good value of its fresh and flavorsome Mediterranean cuisine and Ryba for its affordable fish and seafood specialities!

These three new winners have joined the five restaurants who have retained their ‘Bibs’: t’azal, Al Mzrab, Beirut Sur Mer, Otoro, and Almayass.

Ryba

The Opening of the Year for 2025 goes to ryba, a gem run with genuine passion!

MICHELIN inspectors were very impressed by this bright local restaurant tucked away in a spot away from the city center at Al Mina souq, helmed by local Chef-Owner Faisal Mohamed Alharmoodi, its appealing menu makes great use of fish from the market just down the road at Zayed Port.

This year’s Young Chef Award goes to Yasmina Hayek from Em Sherif Sea Café & the Service Award goes to the team at Mika.

28-year-old Yasmina is continuing her family’s culinary legacy, which began with her mother Mireille Hayek in Beirut, what was most impressive was Yasmina’s authentic Lebanese dishes and her forward-thinking approach. As for Mika, what makes dining at this lively spot at Yas Marina such a joy is not just the food but also the warm, friendly and engaging service, headed up by Chef-Owner Mario Loi.
