The Chilean musical performer is coming soon to serenade the senses of Abu Dhabi's music lovers! Located on the prestigious natural island of Saadiyat along a nine-kilometre stretch of environmentally protected white sand beach and within minutes of Abu Dhabi’s prime business district and Corniche, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi caters for both business and leisure travellers alike, offering spectacular unobstructed vistas of the waterfront and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club from rooms and restaurants.
Rodrigo Gallardo is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Chile. He began his journey in music from an early age, next to the Charango and the Zampoña. His career includes being one of the founders of the ‘Matanza’ band, with whom he created - for almost ten years- compositions loaded with influences from folklore and electronics.
Rodrigo has several published record productions, such as: ‘Ay Que Sera Del Sol’, and ‘El Origen’ ft. Nicola Cruz, ‘Minero’, ‘El Abuelo’, ‘Kalimera’ & many more are part of the global organic electronic movement, where collaborations are born with different brothers and colleagues. He currently presents a LIVE format with 4 musicians on stage, where they perform songs of his own.
The band's sonic inspirations began in Andean and Latin American music. Their sound gets spiced and mixed with electronic beats, deep bass and hypnotic signing. With these musical elements and Rodrigo's unique use of Charangos and Guitars, they create an emotional journey, aiming to connect the listeners to the collective consciousness and ancient roots.
Rodrigo will be performing in Maté and Beach House at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
