Abu Dhabi has been crowned as the safest city in the world by a worldwide survey on the website Numbeo.
The UAE capital was chosen by users based on a criteria that included how safe they felt in the city as well as the likelihood of being attacked.
It’s a proud moment for all of us since Abu Dhabi managed to top a list that had 376 other cities from across the globe including big cities such as Munich, Zurich and Bern.

Also, worthy of a mention is the fact that two other emirates also made an appearance on the list–Sharjah and Dubai made it to the fifth place and seventh place respectively.
There’s a lot to look forward to in the capital this year–from the opening of The Etihad Arena to the Ultra Music Festival taking place in March–you won’t be running out of things to do anytime soon.
