The project marks the end of the ‘Year of Tolerance’ in the UAE.
The Abu Dhabi EDITION is celebrating the festive season in a truly special way–with the unveiling of ‘The Tolerance Tree’.
Launched earlier this week, the tree has been designed in collaboration with a number of homegrown artists from across the country including Emirati multidisciplinary artist, Ahmed Saeed Al Areef Al Dhaheri and Marwa Elsherbiny, a Dubai-based Egyptian visual artist.
Located at the lobby level, the beautiful tree has been adorned with hand-crafted baubles–each piece showcases a unique design created by every artist involved in the project.
The initiative aims to embrace the spirit of the UAE together while celebrating the festive season and giving local artists an opportunity to showcase their talent.
The Tolerance Tree will be up on display until the end of the year. So, if you’re planning on taking a selfie with it, you have only a few more weeks left.
