Fans of classical music have much reason to celebrate as world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli is slated to perform at Yas Island on the 26th of April for one night only.

This promises to be a big night with the internationally acclaimed artist taking center stage at the du Arena to perform all his hits &ndash; both the classics and the latest ones.

Bocelli gave us goosebumps with his spectacular performance on the same stage in 2016 which was backed by the UAE&rsquo;s NSO Symphony Orchestra &amp; Chorus. We&rsquo;re expecting nothing less from the upcoming concert.

With career highs that have included selling over 85 million records worldwide to performing for some of the most esteemed popes and presidents of the world, Bocelli has also been invited to perform at global events such as Olympics and the World Cup.

The talented star also holds the distinct honor of having performed for the first time ever at Saudi Arabia&rsquo;s Al-Ula&rsquo;s Maraya Concert Hall &ndash; marking a big debut for the country&rsquo;s entertainment industry as well.

With the release of his album &lsquo;Si&rsquo; back in October, it is safe to say that it will always hold a special place in his heart &ndash; recorded in Italy, not only is &lsquo;Si&rsquo; the artist&rsquo;s first album in 14 years but it also features a duet with his son Matteo.
