THE WEEKND CONFIRMED AS FIRST ACT F1 AFTER RACE GUEST

Every year we all wait with bated breath for the announcement as to who will be performing at the Yasalam after-race concert and the first name has been announced and it’s a biggie.
 
Headlining the Friday night session on November 23rd at the Yas Marina Circuit will be none other than Canadian artist The Weeknd. Having released his early mixtapes collectively known as Balloons Trilogy (House of Balloons), it wasn’t until the Canadian artist began touring Canada and America that he became a household name. This saw critically acclaimed performances at Coachella in 2012 as well as Primavera Sounds in Spain and Wireless Festival in London and later his debut album Kiss Land.
However, it wasn’t until the release of his third studio album “Starboy” that The Weeknd really entered the world wide mainstream as it contained the collaboration with Daft Punk “I Can Feel It Coming”. In reality, The Weeknd has collaborated with some of hip hops biggest names in Kanye West, Drake, Sia, Alicia Keys, Future as well as Daft Punk. Tickets start at AED195 for single day tickets, but you better be quick as it won’t be long before they speed off.
