¡Viva Mexico! at El Sombrero

El Sombrero has always been a popular gathering place for Mexican festivities. This September the restaurant will celebrate Mexican Independence Day, so the preparations go on with double the enthusiasm. After 300 years of Spanish rule, one of the Mexico’s greatest heroes, Miguel Hidalgo, motivated people to rise in rebellion by giving his famous call for arms “El Grito de Dolores”. Ever since this day is wildly celebrated all around the country with joyful feasts and revelry. Inspired by the great love for his country, chef Froylan created a menu of Mexican specialities to pair with Margaritas (in Mexican flag colours!) and beer. Feel free to come in a sombrero, big moustache, mask of Zorro or traditional poncho!
