Many of Abu Dhabi’s islands are holding their own celebrations for NYE. They are holding some festivities at New Year including Arabic music from Balqees and Kadim Al Sahir, who are performing on the waterfront Promenade.  There will also be food trucks selling festive eats, five star dining opportunities, family activities and a firework display at midnight. They are showing live streaming from other countries of their celebrations on NYE to add to the excitement. 
 

World-renowned US singer, Katy Perry is playing a massive end of year concert at du Arena in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. You will enjoy hearing a selection of her biggest hits as well as new songs before Katy leads the countdown at midnight to welcome in 2018.
 

For a more laid back alternative to New Year’s Eve celebrations, this jazz bar at the Sofitel Abu Dhabi is perfect. It also offers a great view of the fireworks across the city at midnight.
 

Abu Dhabi’s famed Irish bar is holding a New Year’s Eve party with live music from DJ Rob Forrest and The Brass Tacks Band. They are also offering a pre Katy Perry gig drinks package to get people in the mood before they head to the concert.
 

Cipriani on Yas Marina is always a stylish venue offering beautifully cooked food in an elegant atmosphere, with a great view of the fireworks.
 

Partygoers have more than one option at Aloft as they are hosting a special New Year’s Eve dinner at Dine Restaurant with lobster and turkey in addition to a rooftop party at Twelve. This is set to be a perfect viewing spot for Abu Dhabi’s NYE fireworks and will offer an Asian buffet along with house drinks on a special NYE package along with live DJ sets until the wee hours.
 

Velocity at the Marriott Downtown has a relaxed vibe, where people can enjoy drinks until midnight, when they can dance to tunes from the live DJ. This venue has a Studio 54 funky vibe, perfect for those who want to party late into the night.
